So these last few days have been trying.  But I keep grabbing onto anything that will get me healthy again.  I go to my home group meeting and have to face the secretary - which was the first call I made when I was on my knees and cursing AA Sunday morning.  I was embarrassed.

Ends up - he took something away from the call.  It helped him too!  He appeared very moved by the experience.  Then I explained the whole process - calling him - going to this meeting that was heaven and hell all in one - and then meeting with my sponsor.  It was a day God laid out for me to show me my path.  He was so happy.  He completely believes in the program and was not the least bit surprised at the turn of events.

2.5 hours on the phone this evening with a friend in the program - and I am feeling better - my heart is becoming lighter.  My health is getting worse...but I will tend to that this weekend.  She is coming up and there will be no talk of ex's - lots of food, rest, board games, meetings, and walks in nature.  I can't wait!!

Thanks so much everyone.

Sounds like miracles are happening!! Cool! My sponsor always says "you cant believe how much you helped me today..." What, I think! But it is true. The more we help others, we also help ourselves... Kinda reminds me of the topic of kids..helping ourselves and seeing them getting better!! Wouldnt change this life for the world today!! Keep up the good work!!

Oh, and as far as health issues goes..isnt it funny how we notice all the things physically wrong with us now! Teeth that need filling and drilling, and all the other things weve ignored while drinking!!

That's so true!  When I got sober, all of a sudden I had so many health problems popping up,  but I think really I had them all along and just didn't notice them until I stopped drinking!

sounds good, keep on that positive path. It's all good except what occurs between our ears.
