Youre not alone my Freind.

It took me a long time to be able to comunicate feelings and emotions to those close to me. Used to think it was weak, but found out it takes strength, and honesty, and true love. Was always playing the mind games, and using masks. Didnt even know who the "H" I was.

Walking on egg shells, afraid of saying or doing the wrong thing--wanting to control-not wanting to control--being defensive--reacting childishly or immaturely.  The there was all that guilt and remorse stuff. Ouch.

Your wife must be a very special lady. You are very fortunate. I wish you both all the best, one day at a time Pat.

Thanku for sharing and being a part of our AA family here.  Onward we go.

And to the rest of my AA buddies here, may each of you have a good sober, serene Tuesday, and I say that with love, and gratitude. Thanku for being here.    Phil
