Made it to a meeting. Saw a lot of concerned, happy faces when I arrived. I didn't want to talk at the meeting but I did ask for a list of phone numbers seeing that I lost all the ones I've collected through the years. Gotta start somewhere.
Pardon me for quoting this: I want sobriety, not abstinence.but that is like a picture. You know the phrase; A picture paints a thousand words.
Welcome to the wonderful world of AA. Listen with an open mind, and if you really really want the sobriety that "someone" at a meeting has, ask him to be your sponsor.
