Hey y'all, Well I just moved to a new town, actually the town my family all lives in... I was getting sick of being out in the country so far from everything, so my dad moved me into one of his houses here. I'm just outside of Memphis, still in Mississippi though, and I've got my mom, dad, sister, and little brother all here Dad wanted me closer with the baby coming anyway...
Now I gotta find new meetings again, that's one thing I really hate about moving, I didn't get to go to my old homegroup again before I moved either, but I'll be going back for my friend's birthday next month, and I'll still go back out to see my old neighbor sometimes too.
The pregnancy is going good, I can feel Davey kicking and moving sometimes now! My stepmom has been buying me stuff since I moved in, she got me some maternity clothes and baby clothes when she was out shopping. She also got me a new couch cuz my futon was old and pretty nasty from pets... and she got me a big desk for my school work!
I'm way behind on school stuff cuz of the move, but I'm about to start working on it again. I'll just have to put extra time into it to catch up. I'm about to start learning about arteries... what fun lol but it has to be better than muscles was, that was absolutely horrible! lol
Anyway, just thought I'd stop in and let y'all know what's up with me... Hope everyone's doing ok!
So good to hear how well things are for you Lisa! I have moved several times (ex-Navy wife) and it was always hard to fit in right away. I do suggest you get out there and put yourself out there. So nice to be near family, you are blessed! Love ya! Allison
That sounds great! Sounds like your family is being really supportive. I moved a lot and always love a fresh new start. I have been in the same home now for 6 years - longest ANYWHERE - but wanted my daughter to have more stability than I had.
Still get the itch tho - to start fresh somewhere new - so I start throwing things away just for fun. Do some Spring cleaning.
Congrats on the pregnancy. It is SOOOO much fun. I wish I had enjoyed mine more. Young, single, and full of guilt. Just wanted it over. Now she is 16, been the light and love of my life since her first breath, and I never had another and wanted one really badly. Wish I had paid more attention when I had the opportunity. Creating life is truly a miracle.
Good luck! Thumbs up! Sounds like you have a lot of blessings.
Tricia
