Hey y'all, I had an ultrasound Monday and I found out I'm having a boy!  His name will be David O'donel (David after my sponsor and O'donel after my dad).  Here's the ultrasound pics...  biggrin

This one shows he's a boy...

This one shows his hand up by his face...  looks like he's praying  smile

This one shows his head, arm, a hand and a foot...

This is the 3D pic they took of his face, they said he doesn't have enough fat on him yet so it just looks like a skull  lol

Hope everyone's doing ok...  I've been real busy with school lately, I started an online medical transcription course a couple of weeks ago!  I should be done with school and working before Davey's born.

Love and Hugs to all,
Lisa

clap.gif Congrats! clap.gif

I had to go back and read your post again to make sure you said "David" was your ponsors name......Unless your sponsor's parents have quite a sense of humor, then I see you're still doing things your way. Would love for you share on that? New ES&H is always good.

((hugs))

Thanks y'all  smile

Doll, yes I still have a male sponsor, and it works fine for me.  This man also calls me his adopted granddaughter, he is 65 years old and has no interest in relationships with anyone, so there has never been any kind of problem like that that will sometimes come up with opposite gender sponsors.  I've known him for 2 years now online and on the phone, and even when I had f2f sponsors I always called him first when I had a problem, finally I just asked him to be my sponsor.  I'd already worked through the steps with a f2f sponsor, I wouldn't do that with an online/phone sponsor.  It's not one of those things of "having problems with women" cuz I do have women I talk to also.  It just works well with us for him to sponsor me and I feel comfortable talking to him about anything.  He's helped me through a whole lot in the past couple of years, I was real excited that I'm having a boy and I can name Davey after him  smile  Well, you wanted me to share on it, so that's how it works for me.  It's not something I'd recommend to most people though, to not have a f2f sponsor or to have a sponsor of the opposite sex, but it's been fine for me though.

Thanks, Lisa, I love hearing how 'it' works for others, especially when it's out of the norm for AA........ cool!
