Feelin good, work is good so far, but I feel like I might break down today. I'm sleeping on the floor for the past 2 days on a phone book because sleeping is the hardest part of the day. I guess I should call one of the meeting guys.
Give one of those guys a call. They'd like to hear from you and you'll be helping them as well as yourself. We all help each other in AA and that is such a joy to me.
Please keep posting, won't you? You're not alone.
Take care,
Carol

Hi Mike, I will tell you that when you worry about something too much it can kick the hec out of you such as sleeping. Try not to think about sleeping when it comes time and read or watch TV to get your mind on something else. The old saying about counting sheep will help you sleep and I think it is because when you count sheep you do not think about things that keep you awake such as worrying about sleeping
Easy does it and let go and let God dear soul. Sleep deprivation will put doubts in your mind about EVERYTHING including and especially for you about drinking.
20 DAYS!!!!!!!!!! YES! Good for you. I am 10 days and look forward to twenty. I feel talking to a guy in the program will really help you also. Keep up the great work. It is so worth it to have back your life. Take care Rosie
Get your butt to a meeting my friend! And I dont think you'll get much rest on a hard phone book!!!! lol
The hardest part is getting there...Once you go you will be sooo glad you did! And, I guarantee, YOU WILL GET SOME REST!!! Prayers up to you!

gday tyson mike i know the pressures of work harrangue-think i spelt that right,us day in and out in fact its like that in australia too. but lets face it mate , you need to look after yourself, work ,sleep, eating properly, and going to meetings is a sure sign of recovery. if you wonder why the word meetings is mentioned all the time to people is because over the last 70 or so years its a proven fact that meetings help people stay sober . so hundreds of thousands of proven statistics recorded in AA measure up, the proof is in the puddin cheers peter.
