Dont laugh everyone but I am dying to see Genesis "phil Collins"!!!!! Hes coming to the US of A in the fall-Toronto 9/7, Detroit 9/30 and Chicago 10/3.......Not a usual thing we do on here but it will be the one and only concert I will ever want to see in my lifetime!!!!! Love the man!!!! So, any ideas how to get a concert ticket (2) for me!!!!???????

I really liked "In the Air Tonight" by Phil Collins. It really showed his mastery of both percussion and arrangement- and some stellar songwriting.
That and Red Red Rain by Peter Gabriel are my absolute favorites of that genre (I was a self conscious teenager and into punk big time when that came out so basically was a closet fan. I grew out of that soon after, but never actually saw either of them in concert, or Genesis et al. )
I met him once in 1988 (or 89). He'd played in Ft. Bragg, NC and was of all places in a watering hole in Fayettiville. Nice guy! I'll see if I can dig up the pics.....

Dang wanda...did you see the payout!!!!!! Unbelievable!!! I didnt realize he was married 3 times either! He will need to play forever to keep up with the divorce settlements!!!!! But who am I too judge! Love his music...period!!!! Any suggestions on getting that back stage pass!!!!lol
