Just stopped by this morning to check in. I have been busy since Sat, morning, I had to take my 77 yr old Mother to the ER and they admitted her to the hosp., she has emphsema and many other medical problems. They called me early Mon. morning, said she wasn't going to make it, by the time I got there and called my brother who had been with us Sat. and Sun. but was back home 500 miles away, she was doing better. Yesterday she was up walking and doing good, the nurses who saw her Monday morning can't believe she is the same lady.It just goes to show me God is still in control.

I've got to get ready for my day, get another cup of tea and a hot bath. I will be reading posts along, read Ricks on Boundries, we had a Tuesday night meeting on that Topic. Lots of great shares, the one I took was that we should not be so ridgid and that boundries can always be changed. And Stans post just before this was quite interesting, since I'm dealing with the hospital and Mom.

Today I pray for peace, serenity, love and sobiety.Hope you all have a great day, keep it simple.

(((Hugs)))

Good Morning and Good luck   WE went thru a tough time of it a while back. My Grandfather in a home, many calls, near death calls all hours etc. I won't go into complete history, but ended up with back to back deaths. My dad (33 years sober) dropped of heart failure. God willing I could possibly reach that(33 yrs  @ one day at a time). Who knows? If you asked me 7 or 8 years ago, I would have told you I never expected to drink again, but did. The drink lasted 7 years!!! Oh well got off track now, wishing you the best GAMMY
