It's pushing 99 here in NJ today, but that's not the topic- just the eye catcher. I had an interesting week, for me...speaking of boredom. This may be roundabout, but it will make sense and hopefully be relevant to several recent posts. I painted my kitchen (old news) with the help of a friend. Overwhelming and boring are non issues when you have help. There are skydivers and bike riders (mind you, I love bikes) but what about those of us who have found a challenge in the seemingly mundane? Which is ever so much more available .... When I drank, I could barely keep a clean house. I think that drinking makes you not care about anything- on the one hand, it's what we seek; on the other, its the handmaiden of boredom, is my own feelin'.... - BeachGirl. PS- And speaking of beaches, I read today that due to continental drift, the Pacific is shrinking and the Atlantic is expanding- by about one inch per year. Jersey Shore here I come!
Hi all! Just catching up! What have I been doing???? Oh laying in the pool, supervising teens (ugh!) working and Dean would be proud....started working out at a womens club!!! Good bye flabby arms I hope!!
Its hot here too and I love it! The only problem is the wind and the damn cottonwood everywhere!!!!!! I WILL NOT complain about the humidity!!!
So happy summer to all! So glad it is here! You all sound well!!!!!

Greetings from the land of the endless summer. It's time for me to head for the Blueridge, my summer home. Too bad I can't stay all summer but at least I'll get 7-10 5 day trips.
Liverpool has been swinging between bright & cheery summer sun one day & then raining all day the next. Good old British weather. Famous for its swinging lol Apparently my work colleague tells me our summer will be done by Wednesday! I hope not. We had an awful summer last year. Probably two weekends of scorching weather & then flooding in many parts in July & August. Shocking really. Liverpool is lucky in that regard. We have the River Mersey but its banks have never burst so far to my knowledge =S Liverpool is seeing lots of revamps commercially & structurally at the moment having being awarded Capital of Culture status for 08. We're behind schedule in some ways but having some global attention is helping give us a boost in others! 2009 should be interesting too by the time this year has made momentum. Wishing you all well whatever the weather, Daniella x
