hello i just found this site today after i thought it probably existed, i used to go to meetings in adelaide, but i moved away from the city a few years ago and the arthritis makes it hard to get around so when im not in my vegie garden im on the pc learning all its new tricks from a chair, ive been sober since 1992 after all the usual experiences had while drinking, the 12 steps made a  major difference as i stuck with the older members as sugested and got rid of the past resentments ,fears, guilt, and hate. i was willing to get better, after first seeing the steps at the grow community in NSWs in my teens i baulked at step 4 and left the rehab. years later the step flag was their again ,a different time but just another substance . it doesnt matter what the addiction is the 12 STEPS ARE THE KEY the older members are the conduit without those 2 THERE IS FAILURE .CHEERS, PETER.

Hi Peter,

Welcome to the board neighbor. You Aussies really get around. Whenever the wife and I go on vacation skiing, scuba diving, or on a cruise, half the crew is usally Aussies. You all sure know how to have fun.
