My Dad is a Vet. 4 tours of vietman as a chopper pilot......Memorial day is special to me.

Plus, I have to work and Holidays are triple time - woo hoo! rofl.gif

Grandfather......WWI vet., Father....Korean War, Brother......late l980's vet., Nephew....
Kuwait, Iraq, Korea,....still serving..... All in US Army. And lastly, a son in Ill Nat. Guard....
going to Iraq in Nov. (he volunteered to serve in Iraq). They are the closest to me but there
are numerous others whom prayers go up for with gratitude. Thank them all...because whether we believe in the "politics" and our country's involvement in any conflicts, it is these
little unknowns that have put their lives at risk (or given their lives) in the midst of these
adversities to help protect many of the freedoms we have!

I have never seen anything so selfless and giving in my life! Can you imagine the parents that received those portraits!!!! Very nice!


Doll...I was supposed to work tonight too but got called off!!! Yeaaa!!! Still on call but now I can get ready for my party tomorrow!!!!

My brother in law is USMC (retired). Lost a leg to a landmine in Vietnam when he was 19. Thanks for reminding me of the meaning of the day. BG
