Gratitude:

I thought that Gratitude would be a wonderful subject to share on. WHY? Well, Let's see how many things has God done for me. For God has not given me a Spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline. Because of that when I pray he directs my path as long as it is in line with his will.

This last year my husband lost 2 jobs, he has Diabetes 2, has had cancer and a finger amputated, I am on disability and have been for many years, my health has crippled me and the pain has been so bad that I can't move without screaming. My Son is out in the world living the opposite of how he should be.

But, in all this we are so blessed and very Grateful. Do you know WHY? My husband got another job. He was fired again but he got another job after that one. All my life I have learned how to live with plenty and I have learned to live in want. God tells us Don't worry about anything; instead pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and Thank him for all he has done.

As long as I am Clean and Sober I can do God's will and help others. If I don't remember to stay Grateful for God and my Sobriety I am useless.

Thanks Love to you all,

PAM

Bless you and yours Pam. A down day for me but your post makes me appreciate what I do have and turn what I don't have to my HP.

In support,

Nancy

Hi Pam!! Thanks for the heartfelt post today. A little reminder of how GOOD it is to be in God's Will and Care is a great thing to wake up to for me this morning. My alcoholic nature is to swell on the negatives, but God through AA has helped me to see the light, so to speak.

I am touched to hear of all that you and your husband have made it through with His help and encouragement, and faithfulness to you. My day is going to be brighter, because of your positive share today. Thanks for that.
