thank you all, and thank God

My weekend ended up one of the best ever.  I am soooo grateful for the 12 Step recovery programs and people. Thank you , Phil,,, for the support. Thank you, Jesus, my Higher Power.

I rearranged my schedule for today,,,,  and it turned out just the way my Higher Power wanted it.  Instead of going to the big church with snobby people I went to a small church with a special sermon about how Jesus came to us as we are. Then I got to go to the alkathon and say hello to a couple of friends there, and then went to visit a very nice family,,,,,   and I was sober,,,  neither on a wet or dry drunk.  I was never able to do that before,,  with my own family or other families.

Thank you, Jesus, and thanks to all of you.

a grateful amanda

Excelent news, I'm glad you've had a great time, it took me a while to understand the 'wet drunk / dry drunk' thing, but it's great when you can have a good time and not even notice that your not drinking!

Bye for now,

Best wishes.

Chris.
