I was at a meeting this morning... and I told a guy that I am looking for an easier, softer way... and I found it! He was a great enabler! He agreed with me, and gave suggestions! I told him that I didn't want to be that rigorously honest,,, and he told me I could compromise! I told him that sometimes I don't want to have to go to any lengths, and he told me to just do what I want to do. I told him that I don't want to have to work on myself too hard, and he told me I could focus on someone else and it would look like I was doing something. He said the only problem would be in finding a sponsor that would go along with that... well,,,, I would have to get an enabler and decided that a 2 Stepper would be best at that...
I'll let you know how it goes

Hey,, yeah... Steps 1, 12, & 13! (13 is getting romantically involved with someone else in the group, especially into a codependency that is going to threaten the recovery of both people)
I decided to look for a sucker.. ummm.. I mean sponsor now. It has got to be a real special person.. one who is an expert in enablement,,, who will tell me only what I want to hear,, cuz I get upset easy and if you say something I don't like I might get upset and go out and drink or something.
Also one who has some money,,, cuz I need help with all these parking tickets, and speeding tickets..
Someone who will rescue me so that I don't have to face the consequences of my ummm falls
Someone I can always depend and lean on... someone willing to sacrifice his/her own life for me while I am recovering... I get lonesome in the night so I'd like to call at 3:00 am,, and I like to eat breakfast so someone who will buy me breakfast,,, cuz see I don't work right now, poor me
Anything else I should look for in a sponsor?
