What a joke that was.  In and out in less that 30 seconds.  The HUD inspector was a lady and she was more interested in makeing sure all the light switches worked, that the stove and refridgerator worked.  I do not see how she could have took time to inspect my house keeping skills.biggrinbiggrin

It depends on the inspector, and the condition of the home. The main reason they inspect is for your safety. The second reason they inspect is to make sure the landlord is doing his job, keeping up the apartment. If the inspector finds the home a mess, or dirty they can require you to get help making you clean up. Trust me you don't want that. You should be proud of your apartment, and your self, you have worked hard.

congrats, glenn. I know you were worried about this. Now you can take a breather!!!! Sounds like the landlord was worrying a lot about other stuff, like the wiring and stuff, and tool it out on you...
