Wow!! Its been real nice getting to know you since I came on board too. We had two anniverseries last week in my homegroup. One with 5 months, She's our grapevine rep. Doesn't say a lot but we're in a more advanced section of the Big Book now. Another fellow, somewhere under a year has been having real problems giving out the chips. Boy does he have a hard time. He stopped for a minute and said, I should be thinking about my sobriety instead of all you watching me. Then the biggest damn smile broke out across him. Every week he's been more disheveled and nervous and then that smile broke through. Couldn't believe it, if he combed that hair and smiled like that he'd be a movie star.
ALl you newer people having anniverseries are movie stars in my book.
Well done on five months!!!! That's a fantastic achievement. Well done. It's been great to be able to share your journey in recovery with you. Thank you for that.
