Nothing lasts for ever...I have enjoyed my time at mip, meeting lovely people, sharing my experience with you all...I also have received wisdom on numerous occasions......
In growing within Al-Anon, we become whole again, we start to believe we ARE worth something...And when someone within the fellowship questions that..Well, we got two choices....we can continue to fight the fight, answer them back, battle non stop, or we can become the better person and remove ourselves from the situation....
I'm chosing to remove myself.
All I need is to work on ME, my recovery..And I'm taking time out to do that... I'm very proud of who I have become, within the fellowship, f2f and mip....And no-one deserves the right to challenge my recovery....or fault my intentions, when they do not know who I am.. I have worked extreamly hard, went through every emotion know to us humans....And I will not let anyone think I will bow down to them for any reason...
This is my life, I am taking back my power over Ally, The control over Ally...
It's sad It has come to this but, this is my decision. "To my own self be true"...

Ally... If any one questions you... thats mabye them not working the program. Hope you continue to work yours. If we remove ourselves from every situation that bothers us, we may miss the chance to be helpfull and usefull to some one else that needs us. But, I respect your decision... Seen a lot of people come and go here...over the years...for various reasons...
Ive got into a few battles myself and got pissed off with a few...that go behind the scenes and pm others what they should be doing or not doing...Even on the board..
And as has been mentioned...
When Im looking at someone elses shit..Im not looking at my own....and I hafta honestly admit...Ive been there too.:)
However we all grow...in different aspects and do what we hafta do individually..and we try to do it as a WE THING..
And we are all recovering Alkys or Alanoners...Need I say more?? (smile)
I hope your decision had nothing to do with this board...
We try to keep it safe for everyone..
I know that I speak for all moderators here...when I add that "if theres bullshit behind the scenes...please let us know"...and we make decisions to the best of our ability..

And there are always those that can talk a good talk..but are unable to walk the walk..
We dont put up with any crap here....
Those that wish to put others down...criticize and judge...and wish to tell them explicitly ...how they SHOULD be running their lives? ....are in the wrong place...
And usually arent here very long...
