 Boundaries don't keep other people out - they fence YOU in. So you can draw your lines or live your life crossing them.
 
    The view from the other side is spectacular.

Kinda reminds me of those that live behind walls....pretty lonely existance...


Better to stand beside a nice picket fence...with a hammer...and choosing who we wish in our garden eh...

Hey,


 I battle this alot .I want to isolate cause I never want  to hurt liek that again.Than the lonliness gets to you.My sponsor said onme time meetings are to practice liveing life so when I start isolating I work on getting to a meeting..

not quite getting the crux of what you were saying, Jeannie...??


I like my boundaries... I went way too long without any at all.


I do isolate at times, true, but I view that as a separate subject. I believe my 'boundaries' today to be healthy ways of not letting other people heap their stuff on me... I don't think I have to be isolating to have boundaries set.
