I have been thinking about how closely web design and digital marketing should actually be connected.
A lot of businesses seem to treat their website as one project and SEO or digital marketing as something that comes afterward. I think that can create problems because the website structure, page speed, mobile experience and conversion paths all affect how well the marketing work performs.
While working with Harford Marketing, I have been paying more attention to how these areas fit together. Even a strong SEO campaign can struggle if visitors land on a website that is difficult to navigate or does not make the next step clear.
I am curious how others here approach this.
Do you usually plan web design and digital marketing together from the beginning, or do you prefer to build the website first and optimize the marketing side afterward?
