Did Instagram MP4 downloads keep the original video quality?

A good MP4 download should be simple to play and still look sharp enough that I never think about the format afterward. That is really the advantage for me. I can move the same clip into a normal folder, open it with familiar apps, and watch it on different screens. If all of that works smoothly, the file becomes much more useful than something that needs extra handling later.

Compatibility is the main reason I prefer MP4, but quality still decides whether I keep the file. I often move saved clips between my phone and laptop, so I wanted one format that stayed convenient everywhere. A few public videos processed through SnapTik gave me a practical way to compare how the files looked across both devices. The clips remained clear enough for normal viewing and reference, and I liked being able to open them immediately without conversion. That made the workflow feel complete from download to later replay. For me, MP4 works best when it combines broad compatibility with a saved image that still feels close to the original post.
