What should people check before choosing software, especially regarding compatibility, privacy, updates, subscriptions, support options, and exporting their data?
I usually test the free version first and see whether it actually fits my routine. Compatibility is important too, especially when moving between a laptop and phone. I also check how often the software is updated and whether files can be exported in common formats. That can save headaches later if I switch programs.
