Grand Cherokee transmission woes – any decent specialists around Musaffah?

Well, it finally happened my 2018 Grand Cherokee started acting up on my way to work this morning, and by acting up I mean it felt like the gearbox was hesitating and then suddenly slamming into gear when I tried to accelerate from a stop. I've had this jeep for about four years now and it's been a tank, but I know transmission issues are no joke and if I ignore it, I'll probably end up needing a full rebuild which would cost a fortune. I'm based in the Musaffah area and I've been trying to track down a shop that genuinely knows these ZF 8-speed transmissions inside out because I've heard horror stories about places that claim they can fix them but end up causing more damage. A buddy of mine recommended a place that specializes in American 4x4s, and after doing some digging I found that this place is considered a top rated Jeep transmission repair near Musaffah Shabiya according to a few people on the forums, but I'm still a bit hesitant because I've been burned before by workshops that talk a big game but don't deliver. I'm hoping to find somewhere that actually has the proper diagnostic tools to read transmission codes properly and can give me an honest assessment of whether it's just a fluid issue or something more serious like the torque converter or solenoid pack. Also, do these specialists usually have access to genuine Mopar parts or do they use aftermarket stuff that might not last as long? I don't mind paying a bit more for quality work, I just want to avoid being one of those guys who ends up with a jeep that's never quite right again after a repair. If anyone's had a good experience with a transmission specialist in the area, I'd really appreciate the heads up because I'm kind of stressed about this and need to get it sorted before it leaves me stranded somewhere.
