Hi everyone, I wanted to share something useful for people who struggle with extreme heat, especially during summer months.
Recently I started exploring green shade nets for reducing heat in my balcony and small outdoor area. Before installing one, the temperature used to rise a lot inside the house, especially during noon hours.
After some research, I found that HDPE Green Shade Nets help in:
Reducing direct sunlight exposure
They block a good percentage of harsh UV rays and reduce heat entering rooms.
Keeping balconies & outdoor spaces cooler
It made my balcony usable even during the daytime.
Protecting plants from sun stress
If anyone here has plants, a shade net really helps prevent leaf burn.
Providing privacy without blocking airflow
I liked that the net keeps visibility low from outside but allows ventilation.
I personally used a shade net from Trinqet (India) because I needed a strong HDPE material with UV protection. But in general, any good quality green shade net can make a noticeable difference.
Has anyone else here tried using shade nets for cooling?
Would love to hear your experience, ideas, or tips on maintaining them or selecting the right GSM/percentage shading.
If anyone wants, I can share how I installed it and what difference it made in room temperature.
Thanks! Sharing my experience to help others facing the same heat issue.
