How to Use Audience Data (Age, Gender, Interests) Properly in Nutra Campaigns
Permalink

Ive been running nutra ads for about a year, but I still struggle with audience targeting. Sometimes narrowing it down kills the reach, and sometimes going too broad just wastes money. For example, my skincare offer did great with women 3045 in Eastern Europe, but when I tried to scale to LATAM with similar settings, conversions dropped fast. How do you decide how specific to go with age, gender, or interests without choking the campaign?

Yeah, audience targeting can make or break your campaign. Ive learned that its better to start broad, gather some data, and then narrow down based on what performs best. On the Best Affiliate Network dashboard, they actually show which age and gender segments convert better for each GEO. That helps a lot when youre setting up a new campaign. I also always create separate ad sets by gender messaging that works for women doesnt always hit the same for men.

Ive noticed that ads perform best when the creative feels like its talking directly to that specific audience group. For example, health or beauty products aimed at women work way better with relatable visuals and language that sounds like a personal recommendation, not a pitch. Once people feel its made for someone like them, the engagement and CTR rise naturally even before you start tweaking deeper targeting settings.
