How to measure the effectiveness of buying followers: growth, engagement, or conversions?

I bought a small batch of followers for my handmade accessories page just to test how it would impact my reach. The numbers went up, but Im not sure how to really measure whether it was worth it. Should I focus on engagement, profile visits, or actual sales? I feel like its hard to tell if the purchase had any real effect or if it just made my page look more active for a bit.

I had a similar experience with my fitness account. I used instagram followers $1 to give my page an initial push, but I only considered it effective when I saw more saves, comments, and actual DMs coming in. The follower count itself doesnt mean much if engagement doesnt follow. Id say check your analytics for reach and interaction growth in the weeks after thats where youll see the real impact.

Sometimes the results show up indirectly like when new people start tagging your account or sharing your posts more often. Its not always about immediate sales or likes. Ive seen small creators gain partnerships just because their profiles looked more active and professional after steady growth. Keeping track of these side effects helps paint a more complete picture of whether the investment paid off.
