When I stand up for myself and my beliefs, they call me a BEACH.


When I stand up for Those I love, They call me a BEACH.


When I speak my mind,  think my own thoughts or do things my own way,  They call me a BEACH.



Being a BEACH means I won't Compromise what's in my heart.


 
It means I live my life  MY way.


 
It means I won't allow anyone to step on me.



When I refuse to tolerate injustice and speak against it, I am
Defined as a BEACH.


 
The same thing happens when I take time for myself instead of being everyone's butler, or when I act a little selfish.


 
It means I have the courage and strength to allow myself to be who I truly am and won't become anyone else's idea of what they think I " should" be.


 
I am outspoken, opinionated and determined. I want what I want and there is nothing wrong with that!



So try to stomp on me, try to douse my inner flame, try to squash every ounce of Determination, I hold within me.


 
You won't succeed.


 
And if that makes me a BEACH , so be it.

I embrace the title and   am proud to bear it.

I have to say, Phil, that I believe that statement to be applicable to myself 100%, but you have to admit, it's pretty hard to look at a logo of Harrison Ford and think of you as a BEACH...LOL, thank you for the post, it's right on, Wren

Well I had to check this one out.  I thought it was going to be a new "coined" Philosphy, of the merits of living near the Pacific Ocean, and all the wonders it has  when visiting!!!!

O.K., Rob,  I do get it now,  I am a little slow.


Once someone asked me if my last name, that is VERY italian, they asked me if it was Irish, and instead of laughing, I said No, it's Italian,


I clearly remember the two people just looking at each other blankly, like.....She's not blond, right?   HA  HA  HA  HA,  wow did I feel like I wanted to find a hole to crawl into. And I was sober too!


Ok.  no more Trivia.  Just thought you might enjoy a laugh at me!!!

Just goes to show...why there is a border... between Cana Du and the USA eh?

Up here we have fully paid for....Government medical coverage..


We hafta have it that way...


The asylums are overflowing...and the rest of us are on unemployment insurance...

In Canada it is the males who have to replace their batteries quite frequently.


The women are smarter - we use rechargeables.

A true "lightbulb moment",   we here in California, closed down 50 percent of the ???? Hospitals, so now I understand why we,  NO I mean THEM, why they are still out, running around.
