Hi All, I don't know if this is the right place to ask you people about this. Still looking forward to getting an answer.I am a social drinker, I do drink occasionally mostly red wines, As I got to the office a regular coffee is almost to get a kick-start to my day. As days go by I started to notice my teeth colour is fading away. It's mostly yellowish colour which makes me uncomfortable so I decided to go for a dental check-up, where the doctor told me to do teeth whitening, so my teeth colour will be normal. After the checkup, he told me that the colour change can be of your drinking of regular coffee. He told me to rinse your mouth with mouthwash or antiseptics. So that the stains can be removed in a regular basis. I am quite surprised to hear it. Have you people have any similar experience like that? Is it commonly seen in drinkers?
Excessive drinking, more than 2 drinks per day, can contribute to poor dental care ... cause after a while you can't properly clean(brush) your teeth ... you get to the point you simply 'don't care' and/or cannot physically do a proper cleaning ... of course drinking 'staining' liquids(coffee, tea, grape juice, etc.) will advance the 'yellowing' process ...
Professional 'whitening' is an option ... personally, I can't justify the cost ...
Take care, Pappy
