Welcome to MIP John, ...

Working Step 4 is doing a 'moral inventory' where we come to see where we've been wrong, or selfish with our past actions ... sometimes hurting others and/or ignoring their needs ...

'Impatience' is more of an 'emotional' reaction to a situation or event ... it can lead us to rash decisions and force us, internally, to choose what we want to see rather than seeing the whole picture of what is best for all involved in the situation ... for instance, we want 1, 2, 5 years sober at 2 or 3 months in ... if we follow the steps to completion with 'total' honesty and take our time doing it right, then we'll start seeing the promises being fulfilled in our lives ... we will learn and grow to become patient over time ... the results are stunning and beautiful ...

Love ya man and God Bless,
Pappy

Your grammar is muffed up and it is hard to understand what you typed.

Step 4 is a great time to get advice from a sponsor. You are encouraged to use him/her the most during this time.
