Yeah buddy, it's either that or die ... of course there were times this past year that I wasn't sure dying wasn't a better option ... hate to say that but cancer has not been my friend ...

Pap have you looked into or heard of fasting as a cure.

Before everyone starts throwing spears at my head, i have heard it said that a great number of our body's resources are used up with digesting foods (esp meats, cooked foods) that could otherwise be beneficial to warding off illnesses and bad enzymes. Fasting for a solid week and more, kicks in our natural antibodies or some shit. Can't recall the exact words.

That's very interesting ... I've heard, or read, that 'fasting' can do some amazing things ... actually, I lost about 15 to 20 lbs during Chemo ... gained most of it back now, but could still stand to lose some more ... think I'll check into it ... I know they talked about 'fasting' in the Bible, so there must be something to it ...

Thanks Vision,
Pappy

In a nutshell fasting starves the cancer. If just drinking water for a few weeks sounds too hardcore I think a raw food diet is very beneficial as well. We as a society have become accustomed to cooked foods when in reality we are burning any nutrients right out of the meal. I am currently in a month long non cooked food diet and I am in tip top shape with no health issues. I guess my motivation is a preventative maintenance type deal. My diet always fell by the wayside because I was dealing with the things that might kill me.

Before I start looking like a 3am infomercial check out youtube for 'fasting starve cancer'...'raw food diet' and the likes.

Good stuff, ... thanks ... and I might also note ... the Drs. did make it clear to me that processed sugar is what cancer thrives on ... and that processed foods contain preservatives that are hard for the body to process ...

This puts a whole new meaning to the phrase "You Are What You Eat" ... (or drink, LOL)

God Bless,
Pappy
