Aloha Brother glad I checked in to hear your celebration...anniversaries/birthdays are great they give me comparison of what it was like, what happened (wow) and what it is like now. I don't have a perfection target out in the driveway with the desire to reach it only the hope of the next day better than this. I don't drink alcohol anymore and have no desire to do so other than the thoughts and memories of what it was like. Counting the days is a journey of miracles for me that I wish for all other alcoholics trudging in the same direction. ....Thanks for the ESH. (((hUGS)))
Big congrats to you StPete, ... You were very helpful to me when I first came to MIP ... you helped open my eyes to things and situations that changed my way of thinking ... it was a tremendous help in my early sobriety ... My goal is to match your sobriety ... of course I'll have to live a long time to make that possible, LOL ... just don't go anywhere ... and keep do'n what you're do'n ...
