19th December, 2 days before winter solstice. I'm sitting in my car waiting to be called to make another takeaway delivery. It's a grey, rainy day. I'm happy because I'm sober for another day, I have food, clean clothes, warmth, the company of others, the ability to pay my bills and in 2 days time the nights get a little shorter. So merry Christmas, blessed yule, happy holidays.
