nowhere. I'm still here with you guys and girls. I read the posts almost every day. It helps me a lot. I don't really post myself, because I don't have a whole lot of anything new to add. It's still the same: life without alcohol is WAY easier. Its a lot easier to quit, if you have people around you that have already been through it, to help guide you through the ups and downs. And, an AA meeting is where you'll meet these people. And, AA has a good plan, that works for a lot of people.
So, if you're new here, or, you're still outside, sitting on the fence, just know that you're not alone. You're probably feeling like you are, though, and that nobody understands you. And you know what? Most people DON'T understand what you're going through. Normal folks don't, anyway. But we alcoholics DO know what you're going through. We understand, because we are the same.
nobody can understand an alcoholic, like another alcoholic. And, AA is where you'll find alcoholics. People JUST LIKE YOU.
So, get to a meeting. Make some friends with other people who are just like you.
And, if you're looking for a wealth of vast knowledge and advice and information about your "little" problem, well, here you are. MIP board.
Also, just one more thing...(Columbo, remember him?) If this board has helped you with your "little" problem, a small donation to help keep it going, would help out a lot. Thanx.
