Or more rather eyup!
Life moves on. Changes happen. I'm settled permanently in Scotland, left my employer of 35 plus years 2 years ago, run a modest little business restoring cut throat razors and teaching folks how to shave with them, deliver stuff for the local licenced grocer 5 half days a week, draw my company pension, paid off my mortgage and all other big debts and dammit guys, I'm getting married (again) next summer to a real canny scots lass!
She brings a soon to be 18 yr old daughter who calls me dad sometimes, a 23 year old daughter who calls me bill and a 3 yr old granddaughter who calls me grumpy....and I love the lot of em to bits, even though they can wind me up at times...but I remember what's my business and what isn't.
My eldest brother is seriously ill with emphysema and mesothelioma, my brother in law is getting a spinal op next year, my other brother is fine but his missus has recurring pulmonary embolism. Me? I'm as fit as a butchers dog....today.
Still sober, still wearing it like a favourite cardigan rather than a straight jacket. Loving life and I'll never forget the people on here and in the rooms who dragged me kicking and screaming, or supported me, or put their arm round my shoulder when I needed it.
The late toni baloney, St Pete dean, python pappy, aquaman, that lovely guy from hawiai who's name escapes me, pinkchip, there's plenty more on here. Thanks lads.
