From my experience with people I have known, who had the same operation it will probably be a week or so before he can respond to our posts and be out of hospital. Just keep praying I have only known Pappy a short time. But he helped me immensely in that time.and I am still sober because of it and others. So I keep saying my prayers for him.
Bunchie
Update: On Sunday Roger had a stroke while in recovery from his surgery and went back to the ICU where they were able to stabilize him. As of today he is doing a lot better. Prayers and more prayers.

My stroke was a Right (C)erebro(V)ascular(A)ccident. What was yours?
It took out my left side. I was in a WheelChair for a bit and I use a cane to walk today.
Glad you made it. :)
Glad to hear your on the mend Pappy, According to my cousin who had same surgery, it will take time but you will feel like a new man in a few weeks. God bless you.
You guys are funny .. ... .... The Doc.s, nurses and other staff all keep say'n what Bunchie said above, I'd feel brand new in a few weeks ... WELL, I can't wait, cause I can barely even walk right now ....
I Love you guys, y'all are awesome ...
