Does anyone know of a residential facility where a member in long term recovery (23 years) can go to recharge spiritual and overcome depression? I believe this person requires more than the weekend retreat. She is in crisis, although not likely to relapse into drinking.
I had a sponsor once that spent a month in a spiritual retreat in Arizona (in the U.S.), I think ... that's been 20 years ago and I don't remember the details ... they taught meditation and such ... long special 'spa' times and things ... he said he left there a new man ... No religious stuff ... just God and nature ... (and no sexual stuff either) ...
