Who Is Bigger than the Program?

The formate of these boards allows cross talk and public discussion. The AA Traditions tell us how the Program works. When all else fails, the Traditions keep us in line to pursue the recovery that is possible. If it were not for AA I do not know where I would be today. I am thankful for the support that others have shown. The discussions and meetings "HELP" keep me sober.

I cannot stay sober by attending meetings and message boards. I "DO" have to work my Program and "DO" the work rerquired. When controversy enters my day, I re-member that my HP is bigger that my addictions...AS an alcoholic I have proven my best thinking has gotten me here.  So I learn to take it easy...

I pray for all of you that suffer from the disease of alcoholism. I am reminded that it is an "ISM." Not a "WASIM." So isn't it possible that the latest waves of attack from the people that need each other the most is just another manifestation of this cunning, baffling, powerful disease?

Blessings, JV.
