"When we were taking drugs we were looking for fulfillment and happiness. We couldn't face the reality of life, so we tried to create a world that we could feel comfortable in. We searched for our pleasures in sources outside ourselves - in people, places and things.

"In working our spiritual program we come to realize that happiness and contentment are to be found inside ourselves. We gradually become aware of our achievement, and the beginning of gratitude slowly sets in. Little by little, the peace, pleasure and happiness within grow, and then we are able to reach out and say, "Hey life, here I am!" Am I full of inner peace and happiness?"

The 24 Hour Book is a book that you can purchase in the MIP Forum Bookstore, and it is a great little book. All books is John's Bookstore are AA Related literature.  This book has been around for many, many years.

Well I just went into the Book store, and shows the 24 Hour Book for sale, but it doesn't say anything about being "Approved"   Approved by who?  I certainly hope that more than "Approved" literature is o.k. to put on this Board.  There is a daily proliferation on Articles of different subject matter, that would not fit in here in any "AA Approved" manner.

My understanding is that has been going on for many years, right here on MIP.

Unfortunately, you will have to do your own research on the question.
