Hello, all of my MIP buddies! It's been a while, for sure- but I miss it here, so I figured I'd drop a quick 'Hello'. It's great to see so many newer people here- this place really helped me tremendously as a supplement to meetings and all that. I'm coming up on 3 years, holy crap! Haha- I'd have never believed it 3 years ago. I'm back in school at 38, the old lady going back to Algebra and Statistics- I was 'wise' enough to save all the difficult courses until the very end hahaha- how typical for an alcoholic... I think I just figured if I put it off long enough it'd disappear. But...what a gift- to be working my butt off to pay tuition is seriously a gift I never thought would happen. I dunno- things are good- no booze, no smokes- working on the sugar (Pappy!!! I'm an addict). It's good to be back on here.

Hey Col, ... I gave you my 'shock' post on the 'trigger' thread, LOL ...

Just so you know, I do remember responding to a query about 'cravings' when you first got here ... and that carrying some candy with you to help with that, LOL ... it does work for most people BUT your supposed to stop the sweets after a few months, LOL ... (okay, I'm still eat'n a lot of sweets too, you're not alone, LOL) ... (8 years later) ...

So, congrats on 3 big ones (and you too, Tash) ...  cake.gif     cake.gif     cake.gif
