Over the last year, I tried to help in other areas beside AA and I found it to be highly stressful. Because I simply did not understand what their disease was telling them. I finally let go and and let God. I got back to basics again, which for me is the 12 steps of AA.

AA is for anyone who is alcoholic. It's not really intended for other diseases or afflictions. The literature of AA points this out repeatedly.
