a slow cooker full of beef stew on the kitchen counter!  and it's not as cold outside today as it has been the last few days (39F now, was 22F yesterday).  It's almost bearable, even the pets are lounging in the sunny spots.

yep, that's a lot of good happy thoughts!  I would love to be floating in warm water, drinking lemonade, and just being warm all over right about now.  At least its warmer than it was yesterday and the day before!  :)

Happiness for me today, is not searching for the bottle of Alcohol that I had hidden from my husband, the night before.

It is Sunday, and I have clear recall of getting up early on Sunday mornings, just so I could find and drink what was left, I usually made sure on Saturday, that I would have enough for Sunday, but my husband was having a "cow" on a regular basis, over my drinking, so I had to  be very discreet.    Lots of mouthwash and peppermints before he woke up, and shower and "look" like I had not been drinking.  I would continue through the day and when I took a nap in the afternoon, no one noticed I really was not napping, I was passing out.  Right!!!

Thinking back on those Sundays makes this Sunday pretty Gold Plated, or maybe God Plated, would be a better term.

I was not having a real good day today, until I remembered that, and now this Sunday is all good and wonderful, and I am happy to be alive today, that makes it real simple for me. And that KISS seems to always apply to this Alcoholic. KISS (Keep it Simple Stupid) Ouch!!! But its true.

Thanks for all the laughs you guys.

Love, Baloney
