So at the end of july I was paid off from work. I was going to scrape by on the payoff until pension time. In the intervening coiple months I've near finished renovating the house. I took a lodger in (not doing that again) and told myself I was on a gap year. a week ago I bought a thiers-issard le dandy straight razor ftom executive shaving and noticed an ad for a part time salesman /shaving consultant. So I applied and got the job. the money isn't great but the job fires my enthusiasm. All a bit different from my previous role and a lot less pressure. I started yesterday and for yorkshire man in scotland I'm pretty good at it. First fly solo shift is on tuesday. and where does AA fit into this? I can apply the programme and the traditions on a daily in work basis. AA helps me stay sober. I look presentable. I'm trustworthy and honest. All these things and more I've learnt from my fellows in the fellowship.
