Honestly ??? ... ... ... I'v been in extreme pain since getting my first hormone therapy injections ... they did not warn me that the injections(2 large ones) were to go into the stomach (belly area) ... that, my dear, has been getting more painful by the day ... swelling, redness, and pain are what the google site said to expect(wife did a little research) ... I was forced to go find some left over hydrocodone from my biopsy last month ... I hate it cause it makes me goofy and sleepy, but it does relieve the pain somewhat ... I'm not in a very good mood right now ...
I'm trying to wrap my head around the fact that this part of my treatment will last for 2 years ... Radiation to start in 2 months and last for 8 months ... this is all pretty much making me feel useless ... I can't move at all without using my stomach muscles, and that is 'cry out in pain' right now ... must go see Dr. tomorrow and find out if this will die down some over the next few days ... Certainly don't want any long term use of the narcotics ...
Thanks for think'n 'bout me,
Love ya and God Bless,
Rog

Thanks again, ... I got your PM and you are aware that things are much improved over the last few days, phew ... ... ...
My prayers were answered and the pain is now down to a manageable level without the 'heavy hitt'n' pills ... my spirit and attitude are much better as well ... oh wow, Pandora just chose a gospel song for me right this moment as I type this, truly amazing evidence of the power of God in my life even though it's hard for me to see it at times ... sorry, got a little misty here ...
If I could only keep my eyes open to the wonders of the Spirit and not close them during times of uncertainty, I'd be a much better person ...
Love Always and God Bless, Pappy
