Hey Mike, ... great post ... this reminds me of the time when I was in and out of the AA doors ...


I had a sponsor once that made a habit of checking up on me all the time ... I had been go'n to meetings regular (daily) and decided to skip one ... he called the next day and asked where was I ... I said I just felt like I needed a break and wanted to watch some TV ... He said "Well, you missed it" ... I said what'd I miss??? ... he said I don't know ... I said, what?, wasn't you there??? ... he said yep ... then I said what'd I miss ... He said I heard what I was supposed to hear, but we'll NEVER know what it was YOU was supposed to hear ...


I thought, damn, you gotta go every night or you'll MISS it ... ... ... ... ... ... ... I never forgot that!!!
