This sounds awesome! "Celebrating 75 Years of "The Big Book" Alcoholics Anonymous! It is for three days August 8-10. There will be four guest speakers from California, VA/DC, and Maryland. Besides the speakers, there will be service workshops, BB history,  and more and it will be held at the Doubletree by Hilton in beautiful Williamsburg, VA. Since I still don't drive and rely on someone else, who's schedule I don't control, I am hoping I will be able to go. I just wanted to let others know about it.

stepchild, I forgot what part of VA you're from ? I did 27 years in Arlington, and 1 in Norfolk

Fairfax....Right next door Dean. I left there when I was 16...And I was already well into my drinking career.

Step Child, Fairfax is a huge county, do you live near fairfax city, over towards mcclean, down near Bailey's x roads or closer to falls church?
