.Happy birthday, Alcoholics Anonymous 10 June 1935. 79 years of helping alcoholics and their families. Thank you Dr Bob and Bill W. The doors were open for me on that 13 April 1988. As Bill always said: "PASS IT ON"

I sit here and wonder... what would have become of me if Dr. Bob and Bill W had not taken on this journey together 79 years ago. They opened the door and many alcoholics kept it open for the next 50 years, til I could walk through it on Dec 21st 1989. Had that door not been there, the only other door I can visualize for me is the one that closes a casket. Thank you AA and all those that came before me and those who will be here after me, holding a candle of hope for those yet to arrive.
