Hello MIP!  I am happy to say that I have made it to 6 months without a drink or substitute.  I have learned a lot of patience through the months and I am now understanding that the longer I stay sober, the more that is revealed.  I am not in a hurry today for all of my thoughts to change, but I am ready to work on them each day.  I have a great network of sober people that help to keep me in line.  Its a wonderful fellowship and I definitely would not be where I am today without the rooms of AA and coming to this board to keep things fresh for myself throughout the day.  I am DOING all that has been suggested of me and just trying to continue to make progress each day.  Life is good sober.  That's not to say I don't have bad days, and days that my alcoholic mind doesn't try and pull me back into the lies, but I have the tools to get out of that mentality pretty quickly today.  I am grateful to be sober today.

Dustin
