I was at a meeting the other day and a guy had one in front of him. 75th year anniversary commemorative reproduction of the first edition. We had a lot of newcomers from a rehab at the meeting...And I commented on it....How it had the the large print, wide margins and thick paper that gave the book it's nick name. I think Bill thought more people would be impressed by the size of it and would buy it and read it. It has the original stories in the back from the first edition and is going for 12$. I think I'm going to get me a few.

.....wow... you just reminded me about something - when I was about one year sober, I attended a very large AA meeting at an amphitheater in Laguna Beach, CA, to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Big Book....... how time flies.....

Thank you Stepdude, ... I've got a 3rd edition ... but I'm think I go'n to have to 'git me one' of these too ... and yeah, probably git a few whilst I'm at it, like you ...
