Or...Almost Was!!

365 days ago..this morning? This Kid was in pretty rough shape...

Had 2 king cans of beer to keep the body from vibrating..and poured the other 4 down the drain...

Went into my first AA meeting in over 6 years...Knew everyone there...and the weird part about it?

They didn't recognize ME

Son of a Beech!

Hasn't been an easy road...BUT its getting easier...

Thanku AA...for keeping me breathing!! plus attaining a few brain cells that were lost along the way!!

Keep coming back!!  and YES..there is a Higher Power...greater THEN OURSELVES :)

Yes This way , the AA Way , IS The Easier Softer way .

Congrats on Your "One Day at a time" to reach 365 days .

Not being a Dr , but MY own experience & seeing 000's of others

come back from "the brink" . The brain Will heal itself . IF we allow it .

Yep , I drank 5/6 times the Weekly "medical" allowance - Every Night ,

for 15yrs , out of a 23yr drinking career - if you could call it that .

I had a 18inch steel bar through my brain as well , with PTSD &

depression thrown in . I LIVE a pretty Normal life & nobody would know of

any of the above , Unless I tell em.
