I always liked the definition of trudge....To walk with a purpose. Seems to be the most appropriate. They also mention the second fellowship in AA in that sentence...The fellowship of the spirit. It only takes you 12 steps to get into it. Keep trudging John!

I'd always heard that "trudging" is basically walking uphill.  If we're walking uphill, that means we're headed for higher ground.
