Ha! The joys of looking through my email messages in the morning I've been getting all these ads for painless face lifts, weight loss, life insurance, funeral insurance, Publisher's Clearinghouse (which I entered, and regret doing so because everyday I get multiple emails telling me I have to go to their site and "confirm", "re-confirm", "etc. my entry and then I have to go through page after page of their magazine and other ads just to "confirm" my entry which I have confirmed at least 12 and probably more times! And I'm never gonna win that darn thing.)
Anyway, after going through all the other email "friendly" reminders that I am getting older, I have this dating site ad to" try a cougar"! Good grief! Guess I got that one cause I'm old enough to be one. And to top it all off, this hot looking actor I used to drool over when he played "Bobby" in the "Dallas" tv show, is doing an ear wax commercial...... which tells me he ain't getting any younger either. (I'm glad he got a job though)
I may have to go brew some more coffee and drown my sorrows in my cup.....(won't be good as Pappy's coffee he made with his new coffee maker , but at least it's "coffee"

I feel your pain, BTY. I get tons of stuff too, mostly offers to make some part of my anatomy either bigger or smaller.
But I think the worst was that fateful day a while ago when I got some actual paper mail in my mailbox from those heartless bastards at AARP. Yup, they tracked me down and started sending me mail, as if to say 'it doesn't matter how young you feel, we know the truth and we know where you live!'
LMAO Dave, ... Yep Once AARP gets word you're older 'n dirt, they are relentless ... I like AMAC much better than AARP ... AARP is in bed with too many liberal politicians for my taste ...
Oh about that 'enlarger' you referred to ... I posted this on the humor thread:
>eBay Warning..... > >Be careful what you buy on eBay. > >If you buy stuff on line, check out the seller carefully. > >A friend has just spent $95, plus postage, on a penis enlarger. > >Bastards sent him a magnifying glass. > >The only instructions said, "Do not use in sunlight."

I have been getting info from AARP since I was in my 40's...unless they know something I don't about what year I was born, they were off base on that one.
I am confused though....yesterday I also received an email...."Tons of Coupons for Cat Food"....maybe someone is trying to tell me that I should look into this cougar stuff.
They had this show about cougar women dating younger men....and these women were in their 70's and even 80's dating males in their 20's and 30's. Although I have learned more to enjoy attractive looking men....something which believe it or not, I would put on a back burner when I was in serious relationships because I was so darn smittin over the men I was with and I really didn't have any interest in other men. How crazy of me! That is prob. why I have had this "all or nothing" attitude in so many of my relationships and get bent out of shape when someone I was with looked at another woman. (I still do not think it is ok and think it is disrespect to stare, ogle or periods of time). Anyway, although I may look at a 20-something and think he is a handsome fella, that's it....I think of men that age as "kids" probably because they are close to my daughter's age. These women that can get involved with someone so much younger, that is just beyond me! I either want to think they are crazy or say "Growlllll, go girl!" Men have been doing it for years. Look at Hugh Hefner for instance. I wonder if the man even has the energy to open centerfolds, much less "be" with one of the women in it. Talk about needing viagra!
You never get too old to tame ... any cat has the power within, to seriously hurt or destroy anything or anyone around it ... but when that same cat is treated with love and affection ... it's attitude and tameness become purrrrfect ... ... ... (but the cat has to WANT to change, LOL) ...

There goes my humor again...over my own head.... I'm more tame now than I have been in years when I was wilder and destroying not only myself but others. I am liking myself alot better this way. Just couldn't let that "cougar" thing go, could I?
